      Overview

The world of textiles told with a contemporary and design-oriented perspective through 130 fabrics: a visual and bilingual (Italian-English) guide for professionals and students in the fields of fashion, design, and textiles.

This book places fabric as the absolute protagonist, highlighting it as a precious and irreplaceable raw material that gives rise to fashion. For this reason, the selection is mainly based on samples collected from luxury Made in Italy companies.

The volume stands out for its practical and intuitive approach: each fabric is presented through a photograph showing both the front and the back of the sample, conveying the full visual and tactile richness of the material.

The data sheets, organized over double pages with multiple fabric proposals, clearly and immediately present all the essential information: weave, weight, hand, ideal uses in fashion, sustainability, price range, and many other characteristics, easily recognizable thanks to a system of recurring symbols.

It is an indispensable tool designed for professionals in the Fashion, Luxury, and Design sectors, as well as for students of Fashion Design, Fashion Styling, and Fashion Business.
